This is just a quick basketball time out to congratulate you on 30 great years of coaching at St. Thomas and best wishes as you continue coaching at St. Thomas, high school, or wherever you choose.
Our friendship only goes back a couple of years having been your “assistant” on a rag tag spring league Shehan Center team (which you treated with the same energy, skill, and enthusiasm as one of your New England championship teams) and through our numerous conversations (and your counseling) on all things St. Thomas basketball. In this short time, I’ve witnessed the same genuine good spirit and gifted skills that so many others have written about.
