Not so much when we were young but when we’re older, we do try to make a positive impact on our world.
Most of us are called to coaching because of our kids - “please help us out, we need a coach” - is a common refrain around town.
Dave began before most, volunteering to coach before he even had kids.
He is a good man, who happens to love basketball.
Our kids, our school, our town, and our world are all the better for it.
Because of Dave.
Most importantly by the examples he sets, how he conducts himself, and by what he teaches.
Not just the basketball skills (he did that better than most) but by the other skills that we don’t realized we learned until after they come in to play in our own lives.
Integrity, perseverance, friendship.
It is an honor knowing him.
